Happy Easter

In a world filled with chaos,

Panic and fear.

May today we find comfort,

As we draw Jesus near.

The message of Easter,

Unwavering hope.

The message we’re yearning,

While trying to cope.

Think of our Savior,

Who rose from the grave.

Who willingly suffered,

His goal was to save.

Gaze at your loved one,

Who’s with you today.

Ask God for healing,

Give thanks when you pray.

Easter’s not cancelled,

It’s a debt that was paid.

A path up to heaven,

Our Savior has laid.

If the bunny can’t make it,

This year to your door.

The message of Easter,

Lives on evermore.

We don’t need a building,

To remember His love.

A bunny is fun,

But salvation’s above.

If the details elude you,

It’s found here online.

Tune into a sermon,

And let God’s love shine.

May today we feel joy,

As we broaden our sight.

Although there’s a battle,

Jesus won the fight!

Happy Easter my friends! As I pray for healing during this pandemic, I count many blessings in the midst of it. I’m thankful for my Savior, for His love and forgiveness. I’m thankful for my husband, for all the time we’ve been blessed with due to this pandemic, that our marriage needed. I’m thankful for my babies and the extra time we’ve been gifted together, I’m thankful to have the recourses and ability to homeschool them, I’m thankful for their obedient, creative, calm, and loving personalities, that I will never get too much of. I’m thankful for our medical staff who unselfishly are fighting this pandemic at all hours. I’m thankful to be able to watch an Easter sermon this morning within the walls of our apartment. I know for many, this pandemic has been a weight too heavy to bear. My thoughts and prayers are with you, please do not lose faith, God is here, shining His love in many ways, He has not forgotten you, trust Him.

Despite a shelter-in-place state order, that cleaver bunny was able to practice social distancing and made it to our house in the late hours last night! My babies must not have believed he would make it, as I’m the only one awake 😳😂 I have an Easter service at my finger tips for us to view this morning, Easter poems I will read, and two of my favorite children’s bible books I will read the resurrection from to my sweet babies. We will play games, do an indoor egg hunt, enjoy an Easter meal, and snuggle to a movie later. I pray you each have a day that radiates the undying love of our Savior, you get to see little ones rush to a basket, watch wondering eyes absorb the most beautiful knowledge ever shared, and laugh around a meal together.

All my love,

In solitude, I’ve become strong. There is no place, where I belong. I’m working toward a future goal. A moment where I will be whole. It’s hard to make it on my own, Though I do best here, all alone.

Someone Broken Like Me In days long ago, My love used to flow. I would gift it away, A high cost to pay. Life’s beaten me down. I’m broken and bound. Afraid to be hurt, I’m braced and alert. ~ I’m not

I am from a state of sadness, an era of abuse, and eyes filled with fear. I’ve journeyed to forgiveness, a state of happiness, and vision that is clear. I’ve turmoiled in anger, a state of regret, and
