The Resurrection
Jesus proclaimed, “Father send me.
I’ll die for their sins, to set them all free!”
Born to a virgin, he walked as a man.
Teaching and healing, obeying God’s plan.
He suffered betrayal, the weight of our sin.
He died on a cross, to ensure we would win.
He called to His Father, and said it was paid.
Behind a large stone, His body was laid.
When Mary came searching, an angel was there.
Proclaiming, “He’s risen, make disciples aware.”
Peter and John examined the tomb,
And all that they found was a dark empty room.
Jesus had risen, He lives on today!
His love built the stairs to heaven’s doorway!
Hello my friends,
Life has gotten away from me in juggling a move with the ongoing pandemic. I apologize for not brightening your feed recently and promise to do better in the coming days. I do have a lot to say, I simply have not taken the time to write it. I pray this finds you all well and enjoying time with loved ones. I also pray your Easter will be filled with the love of our Savior, and despite our inability to attend an Easter service, I pray you open your bible, read children’s books retelling the resurrection, and/or tune into the many programs that will be broadcasting the beautiful knowledge of the resurrection.
All my love,
~Kat
